The Italian online and mobile betting market has made significant strides since the legalization process started a couple of years ago, and the rewards continue to come to the frequent player.

Italy’s national lottery company, Lottomatica, announced this week that it would use the iPad’s Evolution platform to expand its offering. The latest products that will be available for Italian iPad users, are an online live roulette based system and a betting interface for viewers of your TV show, the Vegas Club.

Online gaming service stations of the Lottomatica live casino and the live TV show will both be broadcast directly from specially dedicated tables at Evolutions studios in Riga, Latvia. But don’t be fooled by the location, these tables are specially marked with the Lottomatica logo and hosted by Italian dealers.

Italian online betting grows

The online betting market in Italy experienced strong growth in 2012, according to the National Gambling Authority. Profits from online casinos reached an approximate value of 130 million euros in the last year, although experts believe that current trends will see a market growth of around 400 million euros a year, that is, in the near future.

In addition to Lottomatica, the Italian eGaming regulation brought many leading providers.
