Welcome

Toaster Collectors Association

The development of the toaster encompasses a fascinating history of design and creative innovation. From the earliest wire rack to today’s most sophisticated toast-making machine, the toaster reigns supreme as our most faithful kitchen servant.

The Toaster Collectors Association was organized in 1999. We are a membership association of people who collect, research, document, conserve and restore electric and nonelectric toast-making devices. We welcome new members who share in the group's interests.

We publish a newsletter several times a year. Each issue contains feature articles about toasters and toaster-collecting, photographs of recent collector acquisitions and news about collector activities.

We enjoy socializing with other appliance enthusiasts and we meet at various locations around the country

for our annual convention. We get together to buy, sell, and trade toasters and other appliances. We display our collections, hold demonstrations, informative seminars, and discussions.

Toasters are the collecting passion for our members, but we also find ourselves attracted to the many other kitchen appliances we find in antique malls, garage sales and on the internet (while searching for the next toaster to add to our collection).

The coffee urns, waffle irons or egg cookers which match our toasters are irresistible temptations. Some of our collectors have gone well beyond just toasters and have embraced the idea of collecting all things electric in the kitchen.

The Electric Breakfast Club is a subsidiary of the Toaster Collectors Association created to recognize all appliances in addition to toasters. If you are a collector of any or all of these electric kitchen collectibles, please join us by becoming a member of the Toaster Collectors Association."
